Board chairs for three Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) community boards were named by Greg Melchin, Minister of Seniors and Community Supports. Following an open recruitment process, Melchin has reappointed Don Risdon as chair of the PDD Edmonton Region Community Board and named Lorne Abells as chair of the PDD South Region Community Board and Glen Hennig as chair of the PDD Northeast Region Community Board. “I’m looking forward to working with Don, Glen and Lorne,” said Melchin. “Each of these individuals has a strong commitment to building inclusive communities and to working to improve the quality of lives for people with developmental disabilities.”
